The Eastern Panhandle Deputy Sheriff Reserve Academy is committed to providing standardized training to reserve deputies as well as any other non-certified law enforcement personnel in the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia. We adhere to the belief that it is the responsibility of all citizens to preserve life, protect property, and to pledge service to their communities. We hold all cadets to the highest standards in keeping with the traditions and para-military training methodology. The individual cadets are expected to conduct themselves with integrity, professionalism, and timeliness, always remembering that the end product must be quality service to themselves, their team, department, and community. All cadets EARN the right to wear the STAR
